A passionate student at Slow Clay Centre for many years, Emma joined our team as an intern and studio technician and is now a tutor in our Taster Classes and Private Classes program. Emma took to ceramics as naturally as breathing and happens to also be a natural and vivacious teacher! She works full-time in a not-for-profit and, like many, has found her ceramics journey to be the perfect creative outlet. Emma has recently started selling her wares at local markets under the name EMKA pottery. As one of our valuable techie-team, Emma helps to keep the studio running smoothly ensuring there’s fresh clay, clean tools and glazes ready!
