How long is a term at SCC and how often do I attend?

We run four terms of weekly classes per year and they are 8 weeks long unless otherwise specified. Students attend once per week during the term. If a class falls on a public holiday we will add another class onto the end of the term. Once you have completed a couple of terms in Beginner’s level you are encouraged to move into Intermediate/Advanced level and work on  individual projects. Together with teaching instruction, each term will build upon previous terms in this way although its not necessary to enrol consecutively. There’s no end to learning and we love to help students develop and encourage you to get on the pathway. We offer generous discounts to continuing students who re-enrol each term as we love to see our students improve.
